Erin O’Harrow–Strickstein graduated from Oklahoma State University, majoring in Political Science and Spanish and went on to pursue her Masters in Political Science (Public Administration Emphasis).
Erin interned in U.S. Senator David Boren’s office in Washington, D.C. before taking a position as a Legislative Researcher at the Oklahoma House of Representatives. She became Assistant Director of the Research Department, overseeing and coordinating the Research Staff in policy analysis and staffing House Committees.
Erin moved to Washington, D.C., where she took a position with the American Petroleum Industry as a Measurement Analyst before being hired by the National Soft Drink Association as a lobbyist in the State and Local Affairs Department. Erin was promoted to Associate Director of State and Local Affairs at NSDA.
The Pepsi-Cola Company hired her to be one of their corporate lobbyists, where she coordinated lobbying efforts with company-owned and franchise bottlers at the state, local and federal levels. Spending most of her time on the road for a number of years, she made the decision to forego her career to raise her family.
Having taken a step off the corporate track to raise her family, Erin continued lobbying on a pro-bono basis for different causes through the years. With a son in high school and a daughter in middle school, Erin has been working in her family’s business, Right Choice Automotive, with her husband Aubrey.
